My mom: Can you live in a better place when you study abroad? It really makes me look bad. π
I'm literally laughing out loud. I found this apartment for the young lady, and she's really pleased with it, but her mom thinks it's too shabby.
I timidly ask... is it really that rundown??
The young lady goes to school on this side of Baicheng. When I was looking, I prioritized apartments near their school.
This one is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom layout. It's for the young lady and her friend to share, having their own bathroom each is much better than a studio, actually.
And it's on the 8th floor, over 80 square meters, with air conditioning, heating, and comes fully furnished with appliances. All this for a little over 300 per person. The ensuite layout in student apartments around here is almost 400.
Plus, it's within walking distance to RCA, UAL, and IC's Baicheng campuses. That's not too shabby, right? ...Could it be that it's just too cheap? π
