There's nothing wrong with wanting to live next to UCL! Loving the 270-degree natural light.
The more student apartments I look at in London, the more tired I feel. 💕 Moreover, the high-value-for-money apartments are all sold out at the moment. So, I have to stick to one constant factor, which is proximity. My budget and room type can be variable. After considering various options, I have chosen this apartment mainly because it is close and has a large number of Chinese international students. After all, I feel a bit apprehensive about areas like Elephant and Castle and Aldgate, where there is a higher concentration of ethnic minorities. The apartment has all the necessary facilities and the nearby area is convenient for daily life. The station and subway station are right downstairs, making it easy to travel to various places. The most important feature is the 270-degree panoramic floor-to-ceiling window view, which is really impressive. Since I plan to return to my home country early next year, I have opted for a 40-week lease term so that I don't have to sublet it myself later on. It's more convenient that way.
