Listen to advice! Stay separately in different campuses of IC! Don't deceive yourself.
Although we are all from Imperial College, there is still some distance between different campuses.
If you are interested in an apartment labeled as "IC Commute XXX" and think it's very close, hold on, it may not be in the same location as you think. 🌝
Therefore, when looking for housing, it's important to focus on the campus rather than the university. I have already sorted out the student apartments for each campus at IC, so you can directly choose from them.
🏫IC White City Campus
1. Chapter White City
Located in the west of London, the surrounding area is relatively safe.
Not far from East Acton tube station, so you don't have to worry about transportation.
Only one stop away from Westfield, so you won't waste too much time on the way.
Postal code: W12 0DD
Pure studio apartments
Starting from £309 per week, it offers good value for money.
2. The Lyra
An old friend among student apartments.
Located next to North Acton tube station, it emphasizes convenience in transportation.
Some rooms have two large windows or floor-to-ceiling windows and a TV.
Postal code: W3 6BX
Pure studio apartments
Starting from £315 per week.
3. Holbrook (now called Chapter Ealing)
Located in the North Acton area, it is quite close to Oxford Street.
The tube station is not far from the building, so it's convenient for daily commuting or weekend outings without taking detours.
No matter which direction you go, it's on the way.
Postal code: W3 6UN
Ensuite and studio apartments
Starting from £239 per week.
🏫IC South Kensington Campus
1. Chelsea Lightfoot Hall
Located in Chelsea, next to King's Road, the transportation in this area is well-developed.
There are Sloane Square and South Kensington tube stations nearby, which are sufficient for travel.
The apartment also offers bicycle rentals at the entrance. When the weather is good, it's nice to explore the city by bike instead of taking the tube.
Postal code: SW3 6NA
Ensuite, twin, and studio layouts
Starting from £195 per week.
2. iQ Hammersmith
Located in West London, the surrounding area has a good quality of life.
There are Hammersmith Apollo, Westfield, Victoria and Albert Museum, and Kensington Palace nearby. It feels like living at the doorstep of tourist attractions.
Of course, there are also tube stations nearby.
Postal code: W6 7NL
Ensuite, twin, and studio layouts
Starting from £334 per week.
The above list only includes nearby student apartments, and some farther ones are not mentioned.
Actually, being farther away doesn't necessarily mean it's not good. Some have better facilities and lower prices, and distance doesn't always mean a worse location.
I will talk about those in the next update.👋
