### Housing Information Edit 1. **Eligibility for Accommodation** - Newly enrolled students for this academic year or graduates within three years of graduation may apply for accommodation. Roommates must be of the same gender and are not restricted to the same university. 2. **Unconditional Deposit Refund Policy** - Contracts can be canceled within three months prior to the start of the lease, and the deposit will be refunded unconditionally without any additional fees. 3. **Utility Charges** - Upon move-in, a prepayment of HKD 3,500 (cash) for utilities is required. This charge does not cover the actual utility costs and will be reconciled upon lease termination; any excess usage will need to be paid, while unused portions will not be refunded. 4. **Cleaning and Internet Fees** - The cleaning fee is HKD 2,000 per person per year (cash), and the internet fee is HKD 500 per person per year (cash). Cleaning services include bi-monthly cleaning of common areas, kitchen, and restrooms. 5. **Payment Method** - Annual payment with a one-month deposit. - For the "Two Installment Payment" option, the deposit is equivalent to two months rent (with the same rental price). 6. **Deposit** - It is recommended to pay the deposit in RMB, and the amount in RMB will be specified in the contract. The payment and refund amounts will match to avoid exchange rate issues. - If you insist on using HKD, only HKD will be refunded upon move-out. Rent must be paid in full for the entire year for any reason (such as securing dormitory accommodation, illness, withdrawal, transfer, or sudden discomfort).
