Tenants can apply for the return of the deposit after completing the normal contract period and conducting a move-out inspection. This process typically takes around 4 weeks, during which tenants will receive an email from the RTBA with instructions to claim the deposit. Please read the emails and contracts sent by the apartment carefully; the move-in time and location are based on the apartment’s documentation.
